Additional Information
After the tattoo is finished a clear bandage will be placed over the piece. This bandage stays on for 24 hours. once the bandage is removed it should be cleaned with regular mild white soap. Pat dry with a clean towel and do not touch. The less a fresh tattoo is touched the better. The tattoo should be washed daily with white soap and always pat dry. Make sure to sleep in clean sheets after appointment to avoid things getting stuck to that fresh piece of work. After about 5 days or when the tattoo starts getting dry and itchy regular white fragrance free hand lotion can then be applied very lightly No more than twice a day. There will be flakes or scabs, DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH NEW TATTOO. A new tattoo should never be submerged while healing. That means no swimming pools, baths, hot tubs, lakes, rivers, Oceans, seas, Great Lakes, kiddie pools, steam rooms, saunas, or dances in the rain. Please stay out of the sun while your tattoo is healing. Do not apply any oils, vitamins, jellies or muds to a fresh tattoo. A tattoo will normally look healed at about 3 weeks but a full heal is 8 weeks.
